Spelunking fun at Horne Lake Caves!

In mid September, 11th Seymour Scouts from North Vancouver, BC, headed to Horne Lake Caves on Vancouver Island for a spelunking adventure! We spent 3 hours going deep underground into the caves, where no natural light reaches, walking on river beds and climbing up waterfalls. To leave the caves, some intrepid Scouts chose the ‘cheese grater’ route, and had to take off loose clothing, and in some cases wedge themselves out backwards, to avoid getting stuck!
